Performance at DIGI

   

-Horryfying experience at DIGI !! The not so Little Mermaid ....

Today was one of the worst day ever man . It started off well enough but ended off with a really bitter note . Dang ! I'll get to that later but 1st lets see what happened today at the DIGI show !

The Digi show was held at Subang industrial Park . It was held at Digi 's new headquarters and I got the show from Su Ling . Su Ling is from an event management group and had asked me to do a KENT show a year back . The event turned out really well and she called the performers back a few times more after that .

I reached DIGI with Darren at about 3.45 pm . Stole 6 mamak metal spoons for my spoon bending routine (Sorry mamak , one day will go to that area again and reimburse your spoons ya ?) . Don 't blame me la k , the stupid place no metal spoon and they were only plastic spoons provided . How am i going to work with plastic spoons ??

The first thing after reaching there was to get my costume . I was supposedly dressed up as Casanova . My hair was done by Malaysia's own Gibson Loong from ` Peekaboo ' saloon . For those of you who do not know who Gibson Loong is , look at his website at www.peekaboo.com.my . It's one of the foreleading hair saloons in Malaysia and Gibson only styles celebrities . Talk about a portfolio !! I really liked my hair after the remodelling but the dang idiotic rain ruined and flatten my new hairstyle !! My make-up was done by KAI cosmetics which is also one of the leading cosmetics company in the country .

Well , the event was acctually a costume party overall , and I've never seen so many costumes being paraded . Elvis , Santana , Pondans , Gay Lo's , Pricesses , Christopher Columbus and one dude even dressed up as Tunku Abdul Rahman ....now thats what I call Patriotic .

There were also strip dancers , Gogoagogo dancers (I have no diea what to call a guy in a thong dancing around .... ) , Europeans , Americans ...and many more . The event was a mixture of everything spicy and nice .

-Me and the dancers who kept on changing and we kept watching .

-Another exotic costume ..It's white and did I forgot to mention that it was raining ??....understand ??

-Mr.Sumo wrestle . After the event , this poor dude got kicked everywhere and rolled back & forth . His suit eventually bursted ....It was freaking hilarious !! I know I'm cruel , nuff already !

Now I won't go into details about the WHOLE dang lot event but will tell you the highlights off it .

Tadaa ....

-David Lai fell down into a pool and got his whole pants wet . Yes ladies and gentleman , in all the pain that I was going through , while walking around the performance venue , I dropped into a pool . Thank GOD I was wearing black and nobody could see my pants wet and that my shoes were squeeking ( the music was deafening by the way ) . Some people did however see me fall INTo the pool and DAMN was it embarassing ! They were thinking I was doing a walking on water stunt or something similar .

-I had my fotune read by a fortune teller employed to work at the event . Guess what ? He earned over a 1000 bucks by just giving 3 readings !! I forgot to mention that the event was overshadowed by RAIN and everybody had to move indoors . Even we `magicians ' did little work and got paid good for it . Walking around, chatting , drinking , flirting , getting  drunk for free...who taught by doing this we could earn a 4 figure pay ? ....Damn do i love magic . About the reading  .....

a) He said i would win a grammy next year in March ( seriously )

b)I would most probably work in Australia 4 years from now .

c)I will marry Hannah Tan and have no children

ok , `c' was untrue but A and B sure seemed ridiculous ...A Grammy ? Does he even know what is a `Grammy '?.......

- Me & fortune teller Dominuque , if you need someone to read your fortune ( for entertainment sake , I don't cordone it ) ,call me and I'll give his contact .

-Besides that , I also met many fire eaters who did dangerous stunts . Crazeee . They were just juggling fire torches and one of them even dropped one of the torches ...ARGH!!!. The crowd was freakishly scared and the dang guy kept on coming closer towards the audience and blowing fire into the air .....

-I also met many humourous clowns that entertained my hearts out . To Agnes , this is how a clown's face should look like . The clowns kept on saying , `This is David Copperfield , he turns Copper into Fields '.....??? I don't get it ( I'm sure you won't either ) but it sure is damn hell funny !.

-Some of the nicest clowns I've ever met ....and I've met many .

-There was also a really nice girl named Cui Xin (or something like that ,SORRY!) who worked for Su Ling . She 's 19 and studies at Life College and laughs at every single thing I say . She brought me water when i was thirsty , entertained  me and gave me a BEAR made of baloons before I left . A really sweet girl . Thanks for the company !

-No this isn't Cui Xin , this was Darren's biggest fan who somehow got drunk and hugged me . Her name is Leanne and she loves magic ...or does she loves magicians ??...hmmm

We both went back at 10.10 pm sharp and drove back . Most of the people that time were drunk to their bones so magic was everywhere in their eyes . They even saw fairies who had similar faces as their co-workers so what da'ya expect ? Beer was free flow on that night . You can drink & puke at the same speed  yet still have enough to drink again .

Darren followed my car from behind because he din't know the way back and at one turning ,...Kaboom we both skidded (the road was utterly wet ) and I managed to hit my brakes JUST in time before I hit a curb .....when I said just in time , I really mean it !!. My heart allmost stopped when the card skidded . I though i was going to be going turtle back on my `baby '. I then looked at the back and WHAM ! Darren 's car hit mine .....OOOH FUCK man !!!Argh!!!!

.....I'll not get into details about the accident but Darren's car got damaged quite bad ......mine was a lit better . ........Arghhh ! my BABY!!

-At current time , Darren has just made a police report and claiming insurance for the damages of his car .....It's all been settled at the moment being and my car is currently at the workshop ....

hey hey its me Lam.I didnt know u were in in DiGi during the D'House Party.i could've at least said hi or something.but whatever la...didnt manage to go for the party.food all habis already when i reached there.somemore have to start answering calls in few minutes when i reached.not to mention the rain delayed everything!such a waste la.bet u had a good time over there aite.i'll see u around soon alright.TC
