EYE of MALAYSIA

Tupai and I went to The EYE of Malaysia just a while back in the evening . Here are some of the pictures we took and what can you expect from going there .

How do you get there?
Easy !! Well there are many ways to get to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa but If you're driving like me , use the MRR1 . Use the Federal Highway(heading to KL) , after passing by SMK Kuan Cheng on your right ( forgive me if I spelled it wrongly, Kuan Cheng is located about 2km after Mid Valley ) take the 1st left turning to MRR1. Go all the way straight heading to Istana Budaya . Just before Istana Budaya , take a left turning and you're there ( there is a signboard stating EYE OF MALAYSIA so don't worry ).

What can you expect there ?
Well , not much except for the Taman Tasik Titiwangsa's scenery , a couple of souvenir shops , a couple of food stalls , vendors selling baloons and illuminating toys , and not forgetting the EYE OF MALAYSIA itself .

WARNING !!
Do not go to the EYE of Malaysia if you have the urge to use the toilet . There is ONLY ONE cubicle each to accomodate for all MALE and FEMALE visitors . The line to the portable washroom is a mile long and you are gonna shit in your pants while waiting for your turn .

-Male on the left and Female on the right.The male toilet is like a haunted ghost house. It's pitch black in there . One small kid came out with piss all over his pants .

Apart from the lack of public toilets , I don't think there is any other major setbacks to complain about . The ride lasts for about 15minutes and it really is a pretty decent right .

If you're lucky and come at the right time like I did , you'll even get to see water laser displays as well as fireworks at the lake .

-What a magnificent view

Just a tip for couples , buy the whole freaking Gondola for yourself . Your date will surely 100% appreciate the privacy you gave her. Tupai and I shared our Gondola with a family of 6 , and the kids were shouting all the way during the entire duration of the ride ....hardly a romantic experience .

All in all ,a great place for a date , just remember to empty your bladder before going and book the whole Gondola !!
