IROIRO Japanese Restaurant, Ipoh
Craving for some Japanese food but you always have a budget to keep ? You go to Sushi King , and everytime you take a plate of sushi off their rotating sushi machine ( if that's what it's called anyway ) , you count the price of how much you must pay in the end ...satisfying ?...NOT!
You're hungry , really hungry and want some good food to satisfy your hungry , good food in an abundant quantity ...but you aren't no Lim Goh Tong who has a pretty Japanese Chef in his kitchen to dice him up any type of Salami that he has the urge to see ( or who knows , maybe eat )...So what do you do ? ..
-That's right , you go to IROIRO
Located at Ipoh Parade , beside BREAD LEGEND and suprisingly near Sushi King , IROIRO is a hungry food lover's haven . It serves all you can eat Japanese and Western buffet . Yes , you can eat quality sushi , soba , salmon until you look like a stuffed pig ...and still eat more for a fixed price .
Readers will now ask , how much will this set me back ? Ladies and gentleman , for a price of RM28.00 per head you can eat till your stomach burst with agony of having too much inside .
The food is really good in my opinion . They have a wide variety of sushi (unagi, tamago ,the red sotong one , tempura miso soup,...wateva wateva...etc) . The western food section had pasta , chicken , prawns , crabs ,etc.owh ...so hungry now ....As for desert , it wasn 't so impressive , they had basic fruits like winter melon ,papayas , ice cream , tong sui ( red bean ) and even satay was at the desert section??
-Sushi..ooowh..so nice
-And more sushi...you're mouth watering di right?
-They even have SOBA!!and you can put as much seaweed or crabstick as you want!!
-The western food section
The ambiece of IROIRO is really cosy for a buffet type restaurant . I would even say that it really fits having a special date there if you don 't mind having buffet ...Hey? It's something new ok ? ... The lighting is dim , the music is relaxing ( when I was there , Coldplay's YELLOW was playing ) , and the service is good . There is even an enclosed area for couples to dine ..when I was there , there was a foreign couple dining there with candlelights ...
-Kareen and Li Xiang getting as much food as they can into their small stomachs
-`Want to die redi ...too full ..wait wait ,can go toilet to vomit then eat summore '...
A WORD OF CAUTION
I'm quite ashamed to say this but I'll say this anyway . The 3 friends who went with me to IROIRO yesterday were all engineering undergrads ( including myself) ...We calculate forces on bridges , beams , calculate differential equations and solving complex exponential problems . You see , yesterday when the resit came , the bill totaled up to RM126.80 , We thought that the price was RM28.00 nett , so everybody chipped in RM 30.00 ...nobody realise that there was tax and a huge quarrel issued because nobody of us thought of the invalid RM30.00 times 4 = RM120.00 only ...the change din't balanced and we were quarelling over a few ringgit , damn embarassing wei ... haiyo ....Mathematic undergrads konon ...REMEMBER THERE IS TAX at IROIRO!
Well , to conclude , IROIRO is a great place to have dinner or lunch when you have RM30.00 at handy and want to enjoy eating without a limit . The food is good , the ambience is cosy , the waiters are efficient and most of all , the price is just right ...Give IROIRO a try and thank me later .

Im bored at work and try to kill my time reading thru ur blog about recommended restaurants in kl/ipoh. Try Tony Roma's ribs in sunway pyramid, kinda nice for me. but always fullhouse and need to queue to get a seat.

I've tried Tony Roma's before but din't really like it . Taste and price factor contributed to my judgement . Thanks for dropping by my humble blog though.=), Hope you're doing fine !
