This blog has served me well over the past two years and has made me lots of money and friends along the way . I really LOVE it and that being the main reason that I have still remained in friendster .

Time flies so fast..I'm getting OLD!

Time flies so fast , sometimes I just lose track of where I 'm at .
I can 't believe I'm turning 22 in a few more days . It all hit me when I did my friend a favor and performed for the LIONS Club in Subang Jaya  quite some time back . Most of the audience members were high schoolers .

Two pretty girls came up to me after my show and commended me on a good performance ( and many more after that , I KID YOU NOT ! ) . I was really happy  and then asked them :

`You're taking SPM this year ? '
`NO PMR ! Do we look that old to you ? '

Holy shit !! , when did I become so old ? I still remember the days when I joined the INTERACT CLUB to enlarge my social circle in high school ( or in other words , to meet girls ) , but I  mostly exchanged numbers with GUYs during those days ...failure , even though I was the club's President .

Now high school girls are coming up to me and complimenting on my act and asking me for my business cards .

Why din 't that happen when I was 15 ? Age is slowly creeping up on me ....

I got an msn message from Ovidia about Harith's stand -up gig in Mont Kiara . I'm always a fan of stand-up comedy so what the heck, though still not feeling that well , I took the plunge . It was well worth it .... except for the fight that happened later after the gig . Man was that crazy . A little bit  on that later on .

I had great company  and sat with Sazzy , Ashraf Sinclair , the Carliff brothers , Ovidia , and many other friends I just got to know . Almost everybody who was anybody went there to show Harith support . Hannah , Douglas Lim , Hans Isaac , Afdlin Shauki , Ng Ping Ho , Samseer , Joey G , Christian Capes and many more familiar names in the industry were present .

The show started a little late so I did a little magic at the club . It went down well , but when Harith took the stage , he practically brought down the house ! Blardee BOLD would be the term used to describe his act . One of my favourite line's from his act was :

` When I looked at the newspaper and saw that there was a person who scored 21As for SPM ... I was like WHAT THE F*UCK ??  , are there even 21 topics in the world to study about ? '

My gosh was that hilarious .

On the fight , I can't tell who it was as it involves a very familiar name in the entertainment industry , but I can tell you it was one heck of a crazy incident . It happened right in the middle while everyone was watching . Luckily there was no press .

Anyhow , it was a fantastic show and it really changed my perception on local stand up comedy. Bravo .

I'm sick... or am I ?

This is going to be a little weird but here it goes .

Lots of things have been on a stall lately due to my procrastination . Aughh , not a very good start to the month , but I promised myself that it'll be better . Preperation for shows have been crazy and hopefully can `cari more makan' ( is that even correct ? ) in April . Have to work hard and save up .

Last night I had this crazy weird dream which was not actually a dream . I kid you not when I say that it is weird .

I recently bought a Garmin Nuvi 200W GPS to guide me around since TUPAI is not in Malaysia anymore . It's one of the best gadgets I've ever bought . Since getting it , I have yet to get lost !

Back to what happened last night ... I wasn't feeling well the whole night and had a flu plus my throat wasn't feeling too good. It was just an `OFF' day for me . Nothing productive happened if I were to term it in other words . I slept early and then had the weirdest dream ever . I'm not sure whether or not it was the medication playing tricks with my mind or I just went plain crazy from the stress .

In my dream , I was driving to Puchong  and I wanted to turn left while my GPS forced me to turn RIGHT . ( Garmin NUVI has a voice activated system ) . My brain just got stuck and couldn't make a decision . Shitty Crap . I woke up sweating like a roasted pig and out of nowhere had the sudden urge to PUKE . After Puking a load , I took a Panadol and tried to go to bed .

I couldn 't . I stayed up for most of the night having a really bad headache ...and I had to rush to work at 7.30am ...

That sums up a weird post . What is happening to me ? I'm dreaming about a GPS system these days ????? I'm suppose to be dreaming about other stuff that boys usually do ....Damn it !

MY 21st birthday ... NOT!

I just read my aunty's blog , and saw that her birthday was coming up ... then I somehow realised that mine was just 3 days after hers , which is in a few days. The best part was , a few minutes after that , I received an sms :

`Happy Birthday David ! '

My birthday is coming up in another week, and miss blur confused out the dates . Oh well , at least I'll know who was the 1st to wish me .

Why did I name the post my 21st birthday ? A lot of people usually list things they want or set up a wish list for their birthday . I'm not going to do that . Whatever I want , I can afford it , and if I can't afford it , I'll find ways to make sure I can afford it . My work pays me good but my work isn't as easy as it seems . Statistics say public speaking is people's #1 fear . My work involves me speaking in front of hundreds to thousands of people double/triple my age ...and while doing this I have to make sure they are entertained !.. It's really scary sometimes ...wait , it's scary every single time .

So what do I want that I can't have ? ... I want back my 21st birthday . I want to celebrate it properly , and have a party . It's my 21st birthday , a once in a life time experience ... Too bad it's over. Kind of demanding of me , asking for a 21st birthday party when I'm going to turn 22 isn't it ? .

Oh , well , this year I'm really not looking forward to anything . It even slipped my mind if I hadn 't gone to Yin 's blog .

UTP really stole the supposedly most enjoyable time of my life . Just a word of advice to people out there who are just enrolling in their tertiary education . Make sure you do what you like , and it's even better if you think you're good at the subject ....and seriously , the last person you want to take advice on how you're suppose to continue with your tertiary education is your mom or dad . I regret that decision everyday for the past 4 years and everytime I look at my parents , I somehow get really pissed off and anchor back to them forcing me be in UTP . The most God Forsaken Fucked UP UNI in the whole fucking kingdom ... I think it shortened my life by a good 10 years .

My 22nd birthday wish ?  ...To be less angry ... I just got on Xanax , and I throw tantrums less often . Going to try Valium soon and see whether it's better . Fuuh , I get angry till I get headaches when I think of this .

Show for SG-Duke

Singapore ....

Last weekend I did the show for DUKE-Singapore in Regent Hotel , Orchard Road , Singapore . The event was attended by over 300 doctors and nurses , specialising in anesthesia .

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel which I found out to cost USD380.00 a day . That would make it a whopping RM1250 a night . Blardee crazy ! I thought HILTON KL was expensive , this is waaay UP ! Here is the picture of the room which I shared with Josh .

I also went to a lingerie model party at Zouk Singapore and met many models and cool people there . Made friends with magazine writers as well as widen my social circle ...with magic of course . Also met Charles Chen who is the organizer of the event . He's 26 ....We'll hopefully work together in events to come . He runs an underwear company , so it should be interesting ..

My show was at Regent Hotel on saturday night . I was very dissapointed with myself due to some technical complications . Everything was already set-up and I was waiting for my show . The show was delayed a little and my friend who is also the FHM model of a the month MAGICIAN Babe NING came by to visit me . She just finished a gig at a place nearby and she brought along one of Singapore's best illusionist JC SUM with her .

Since my show haven't began , we chatted outside the main ballroom and caught up with old time .....till one of the event organizers came rushing in and said

`Hey, hey , they already called you ...! '

Makuku , the MC announced me before knowing whether I was ready or not ... I quickly said bye and rushed into the hall and did my show . I won't go into detail , but it definitely wasn't the best show I did . Morever , NING and JC was watching in the crowd . Owh , my heart broke into 8 lovely pieces after the show .

The organizers were happy though , so thats the only form of comfort I took back from the show . It was suppose to be so much better .

Oh well , it's all about raising my standards . Next show will be held over the South China Seas . I'll update more on that later .

Back to my friend NING ... I met NING through magic about 2 years ago . She came down to Malaysia for a conference and we became good friends ever since . After two years , she has gone so far in the magic world . She got her degree , she is now working with Singapore's best illusionist JC SUM , and manages her own kids magic event . She is also a previous FHM's personality of the month plus she's going to be in Singapore's 1st permanent magic illusion show . Very very proud of her ! ( NING if you're reading this , let me say again that I'm very very proud of you ! =) )

Hannah Tan at SOMO

I just got back from Singapore and it was one hell of a journey . A little about that later but all I can say was that I was dissapointed with my performance . I chart my shows like a graph , I had 5 fantastic shows the past month and then now its back down . Aiyaya , to be a professional I have got to maintain my consistency , no matter what the reasons . But anyhow , before sharing on my post mortem , here are the pictures of me at SOMO during Hannah Tan's beautiful performance there.

NTV7 Venus talk show

Sariah Ahmad from NTV7 called me up a while back and asked if I knew any female magicians and asked for a little help in her new talk show . Sariah was formerly the co-producer of NTV7's the Breakfast Show  and now she is producing and hosting her new talk show called VENUS .

I helped Jennifer out with her routines for the LIVE show . Thank GOD everything went well . The pictures are not much ,but  here they are !

If you guys ever meet me , ask me to show you what Sariah did on the show . It's a superb ` TRICK '. Don't forget ! Ask me ! ! ...and if you don 't laugh after i perform it to you , I promise I'll buy you a drink !..or dinner for the matter of fact !

It took me almost 20 minutes to get through to Singapore . I tried so many combinations that my mind went haywire and got so pissed off . By the time I got her on the other line , my mood to talk already vanished ...just like magic .

Baah , why din 't anyone tell me that you'd have to dial  02 now , if you want to connect to a Singapore number ???
